Driven by Innovation, Puma tractors are built around the latest generation Stage V-compliant FPT engines, forming the heart of a powertrain that’s built to take high-output hard work in its stride.
The 6.7 litre 4-valve engine with Common Rail high-pressure fuel injection and wastegate turbocharger delivers performance, torque, fuel efficiency and reliability between 155 and 185 hp (rated). All models benefit from an innovative power management system that provides an extra power boost when transporting heavy loads or moving at higher speeds.

That’s why the next generation Puma SWB brings two brand-new transmission options alongside the proven CVXDrive. Farmers can now choose between:

• CVXDrive (CVT) – offering greater mechanical efficiency and improved productivity with lower fuel consumption.
• ActiveDrive 8 (Dual Clutch Technology) – delivering 24x24 gears with smooth shifting, ECO transport capability, and a “full auto” driving feel.

Together with ActiveDrive 6 (Semi-powershift), these choices make Puma one of the most versatile tractor ranges in the Case IH line – ensuring that whatever your workload, there’s a Puma transmission to match.

The Puma’s upgraded hydraulic system is designed for the toughest implements and maximum efficiency in the field.

• Rear lift capacity up to 8,380 kg
• Up to 5 electronic rear remote valves
• Up to 4 electronic mid-mounted remote valves
• Rear PTO available in mechanical and new electric versions, giving operators more choice and control
• Up to 3 rear PTO speeds, including ECO PTO (540E and 1,000E at just 1,600 rpm) for reduced fuel consumption

A Tractor with Perfect Traction

Puma’s automatic 4WD and differential lock systems can be engaged or disengaged automatically as needed, ensuring minimal wheel slip and maximum ground protection. The standard Ride Control system reduces pitching movements when transporting heavy mounted implements.

Now, the new front axle suspension further enhances comfort and drivability, delivering improved stability at higher speeds and greater manoeuvrability in the field. With the addition of Roll Control, the Puma offers even better handling when cornering, especially under load or during transport.
