Farmers share their experience with Case IH Puma: All-round tractor for every farm!

The Puma tractors of Case IH have become a symbol of complex equipment for agriculture, that is cost-effective, comfort and high-tech. The Puma tractors have received this recognition by Bulgarian farmers in whose farms they operate.

We bought Puma one year ago as we were looking for tractor which is more universal for our farm. Besides for heavy tillage like plowing, cultivation and disking, we use it for autumn and spring seeding.

We own the Puma 240 CVX tractor for almost one year. We carry out all lighter operations with it. I classify as heavy operation the deep plowing and subsoiling, and the lighter are seeding, hoeing, spraying. Just a universal machine, which I think every farm should have.

One of the reasons we have invested in Puma is that it allows the tires to be moved on the axles. This saves us the cost of investing in an additional package of tires.

An important detail in the comfortable cab of the Case IH Puma tractor, which Bulgarian farmers appreciate, is the installed AFS navigation system. It contributes to the accurate, fast and reliable operation of the tractor, thanks to the AFS RTK + signal for corrections from the network of Titan Machinery Bulgaria. Equipped with Vaderstad seed drills, they create the perfect combination in the field.

The Puma in the farm is equipped with AFS with accurate RTK signal from the Titan Machinery network. We got convinced in the huge benefits of the signal. We use it a lot during our autumn seeding and we attach a Vaderstad seed drill to the tractor and it manages to seed with18 km per hour without any problems. We also use it in the spring seeding. In the summer when that tractor does not need the signal, we manage to change the antenna within 1 hour and place it on our Case IH combine, thus making it not just more efficient, but also manages to map the yield of our fields.

Before purchasing the tractor, together with the Vaderstad Tempo F 8, we planted with 4 conventional pneumatic seed drills. Right now, these 4 seed drills are replaced by only one, and the time to deal with the work has even been reduced compared to previous years. Our seed drill is equipped with fertilizer application, so we save on another operation. And I can say that we have one of the best planters at the moment.
