Titan Machinery realized a strong participation in BATA Agro 2022

27.05.2022

Titan Machinery realized a strong participation during the exhibition of agricultural machinery – BATA AGRO 2022, which was traditionally held at the airport near Stara Zagora.

The company honoured a number of its long-term customers at its stand, as well as many new farmers who came to see the new products from Titan Machinery's portfolio.

Svilen Lozanov, Executive Director of Titan Machinery Bulgaria stated:

This edition of BATA AGRO exhibition showed that farmers are becoming more demanding of the technologies offered to them in the direction of production costs optimizing. This is entirely due to the dynamic prices of fuels, fertilizers and detergents. In that regard, in Titan Machinery, we are fully prepared, and all the machines we presented work in this direction – to reduce the production costs. This was the direction of all the talks and transactions made during the exhibition.”

During BATA AGRO 2022, farmers had the opportunity to see the full range of Case IH tractors, from the manoeuvrable and compact Farmall to the impressive and powerful flagship wheeled tractor – Case IH Steiger.

A great interest among the visitors of the stand was aroused by the Case IH Magnum series tractors, which has a number of improvements – a brand new cabin, Stage V engines, brand new Full PowerShift gearbox with 21 gears and many more. What impressed the farmers the most was the ability to remotely monitor the machine, as well as parameters such as fuel consumption, operating ranges such as temperature, etc., as well as remote control and service diagnostics of the machine.

In the Case IH machinery sector farmers also got acquainted with the updated Farmall C series of tractors, which is equipped with new Stage V engines and additional extras. The tractors of the new Farmall C series have the maintenance-free FPT HI-eSCR2 system, which saves farmers the cost of replacing expensive DPF filters. This series of tractors is aimed at professional small and medium stock-breeders and farmers with mixed farms.

In connection with the upcoming harvest campaign interest in Case IH combines was seriously enhanced. Farmers stopped in front of the unique Axial-Flow 8250 combine, which, in addition to its spacious cabin, unsurpassed comfort and the large AFS 700 Pro colour touchscreen display impressed farmers with the innovative AFS Harvest Command technology, with which all combines of the series are equipped.

AFS Harvest Command monitors in real time the key operating criteria including translational speed, engine load, material feed rate control and sieve settings. This makes it possible to provide adaptive settings according to the specifics of the harvest in the field. Unique sieve pressure sensors provide accurate load measurement, allowing the system to determine the difference between sieve overload and material blowing losses. The grain chamber identifies cracked or broken grains as well as foreign impurities, thus automatically adjusting the settings to meet the operator's desired grain quality targets for crops such as wheat, barley, corn, soybeans, rapeseed and rice.

The unique advantages of this technology have already become clear during the difficult harvesting conditions of the past year and are becoming increasingly popular among farmers in Bulgaria and Europe.

The new model of white harvesting header white harvesting header MacDon FD2 also aroused interest at Titan Machinery's stand.

During BATA Agro 2022, Titan Machinery also showed the new brand in the company's portfolio – the French highly renowned sprayers – Tecnoma.

Farmers saw Tecnoma Laser self-propelled sprayers on the stand /самоходните пръскачки Tecnoma Laser/, which are the world's emblem for precision spraying. The series is available in models with spraying booms working grip from 24 to 44 meters; tank capacity from 3200 to 5200 litres; ground clearance from 1.05 to 1.80 meters; as well as by choosing an active front cabin.

The emblematic Tecnoma TECNIS trailed sprayer was also presented during the exhibition, in its compact, powerful and intelligent version – TECNIS 3100. Tecnoma offers options for trailed sprayers with larger volumes, which belong to the Tecnis II model. It is available in 3 tank variants (3500, 4500 and 6000 l) and booms of up to 44 m.

In the plant protection sector, grain producers got acquainted with the prestigious brand of self-propelled sprayers AGRIFAC Condor V, which are equipped with the unique technology for individual spraying of each plant, through an innovative system of sensors and video cameras.

Vaderstad 's sowing and tillage equipment is increasingly gaining ground on the Bulgarian market, with its innovative technologies, quality and precision, which is why the interest in these machines during BATA Agro 2022 was also increased.

Attention was focused on the Vaderstad Carrier disc cultivator, which for the needs of the increasingly popular No-Till technology in Bulgaria, at customer request, can be equipped with the new CrossCutter discs. They provide even better cultivation before sowing to a depth of up to 3 cm.

The new CrossCutter discs completely cut out the soil capillarity by shredding the entire working width of the cultivator. Thus, valuable soil moisture is preserved for subsequent crops. The working depth of 2-3 cm ensures that a minimum amount of soil is dried, while, in turn, the large amount of plant residues in the upper soil layer helps to reflect sunlight and also contributes to further moisture retention.

The traditionally market-proven Vaderstad Tempo L spring-crop seeders were also the subject of attention and direct negotiation, in order for farmers to be sure that they will work on their farm with the seeder they want.

At the end of the show, Titan Machinery's team reported that although this year the visitors of BATA Agro were less in number, the interest and the number of inquiries for machines offered by the company was higher, which makes the exhibition extremely successful for yet another year.
