Case IH Maxxum 150 – Active Drive 4 – the best-selling 6-cylinder tractor
The strongest interest of farmers in Bulgaria is in the Maxxum 150 Active model Drive 4, which is the best offer on the market for new tractors in terms of price, power, efficiency and economy. Its nominal power is 145 hp and the maximum one of 175 hp is reached thanks to its Power Management system for efficient control of the engine and PTO. Another important advantage of this model is the 4-speed Powershift transmission with 16 forward/16 backward gears and transport speed of 40 km/h. CASE IH Maxxum 150 is equipped with a new 6.7 litre engine with 740Nm of torque, which provides the necessary reserve power for heavier operations.
The new Maxxum 150 is the lightest and most compact tractor in the industry with a 6.7-liter 6-cylinder engine equipped with Hi-eSCR 2 selective catalytic reduction, requiring no maintenance and with no exhaust gas recirculation. This further contributes to the low operating costs of the tractor.
Even higher performance with ActiveDrive 8 – Powershift transmission
For farmers with higher demands, Titan Machinery Bulgaria offers Case IH Maxxum 150 in fully automated CVXDrive versions CVT transmission or the latest ActiveDrive 8 transmission, which is a Powershift transmission with 3 working ranges, providing a total of 24/24 gears. This is the only dual-clutch transmission that allows the creeper option, which raises gears to 48/48 at a minimum operating speed for heavy operations of 200 meters/hour.
ActiveDrive 8 provides absolutely smooth gear shifting, without any interruption in the range from 4 to 18 km/h. The gearbox also adapts to changes in the speed of uneven terrain and provides excellent traction and stability.

Case IH Maxxum – power according to the needs of each farm
Farmers can choose between the Maxxum 125, 135, 145 and 150 models. The engines are manufactured by FPT Industrial (part of CNH), and are some of the most successful engines in the sector. All models are 4-cylinder and the topmost Maxxum 150 is 6-cylinder.
As with the highest power range Case IH tractors, the Maxxum tractors are also available with the CVXDrive continuously variable transmission, providing a smooth change of speed in the range from stationary to 50 km/h at an economical 1700 rpm. The CVXDrive transmission uses DKT dual-clutch technology for optimum performance. However, CVXDrive technology provides not only efficiency but also easy control, which makes the tractors extremely easy to be operated by both higher and less experienced operators, as well as to perform various economic activities.
For the base-class models, there is a 16-speed Semi Powershift transmission, divided into 4 ranges with a maximum speed of 40 km/h. The optional Creeper doubles the number of speeds to 32x32.

From the upgraded front axle suspension to the extended seat range, Maxxum tractors are designed so that the operator works in complete comfort – every hour, every day, regardless of the task or the terrain. This is supported by the multifunction joystick and the optional AFS 700 Pro colour monitor for complete control and monitoring of all tractor operations.
Powerful hydraulics for operation with any attached equipment
Maxxum models are equipped with up to 4 mechanical or electric rear hydraulic valves. The hydraulic pump provides oil flow of up to 150/min depending on the model. As an option for Maxxum models, a high-performance axial piston pump is available, which provides a flow rate of up to 121 l/min. With a load capacity of up to 7,115 kg (for tractors with a hydraulic pump with a flow rate of 80 l/min) or 7,864 kg (for tractors with a pump with a flow rate of 113 l/min), Maxxum models are ready to work with different sizes of equipment and front hitch system with a load capacity of 2,800 kg (with a 80 l/min pump) or 3,100 kg (with a 121 l/min pump), is an option. Electronic Track Control (EHC) is standard on all Maxxum tractors, with Electronic Draft Control.
